Over the summer, as the House prepared to consider sweeping climate change legislation, several lawmakers received letters on seemingly official stationary from the NAACP and the American Association of University Women. The letters warned lawmakers that the organizations had serious doubts about the bill Democrats were bringing to the floor.
But the letters turned out to be fakes.
"Those are not insignificant organizations in our country," Rep. Ed Markey, chairman of the House global warming committee and co-author of the bill, said at a hearing Thursday. "That really does put a thumb on the scale against clean energy technologies, and word would spread on the House floor, as to why particular members might be considering opposing the legislation."

And again with the not too fine a point but, the Dems are not showing any interest in democracy at all. They seem to have gone full tilt for communist despotism. -
